Magnify God. Make Disciples. Meet Human Need

november Scripture Focus

We now have this light shining in our hearts, but we ourselves are like fragile clay jars containing this great treasure.  This makes it clear that our great power is from God, not from ourselves.

Two Days of Worship:

Celebrating the Lord’s Work and Our Church’s Heritage!

What a wonderful weekend of worship and reflection as we gathered to remember the deeds of the Lord and reflect on His works! Sunday was perfect, featuring special music and a focus on our Anniversary Scripture from Psalm 77:1-2. Following the service, we enjoyed an old-fashioned covered-dish lunch and a special program, highlighted by the opening of a 1988 time capsule from Bessemer First Presbyterian. It was a joyful celebration that we will always cherish!

I will remember the deeds of the Lord; yes, I will remember Your miracles of long ago. I will consider all Your works and meditate on all Your mighty deeds. Psalms 77:11-12
