Our Sunday Gathering

SVPC’s Sunday worship gathering begins each week at 10:30 a.m. Our time together is friendly, warm, and made up of traditional worship elements. We pray and sing hymns, share confessions of faith, read Scripture and have a sermon. It is our hope that each participant feels welcomed and encouraged to participate in the service. The glory of Christ is the central priority of our worship gathering. We want everyone to gain a sense of God’s grace and love as we gather in worship together. Sunday School Discipleship Time

Each week at 9:30 a.m., we have a time for Sunday Discipleship for all ages. This time revolves around theological study, casual group discussion, and opportunities to grow deeper in our faith together.

No way! We love it when visitors come and we hope to become fast friends with all who visit. We work very hard for people to feel welcome and a part of our community whether it’s their first Sunday or if they’ve been coming here their entire life.

They’re welcome in worship, too! We are blessed to have people of all ages as part of this community. We have Sunday activities and Children’s Church each week. We also have a well-equipped and well-staffed nursery. We look for ways for children to feel a part of what’s happening on Sunday in worship and offer spaces outside of the worship gathering, if that’s where they’re more comfortable. We strive to be a church where children can explore and grow in their faith while feeling connected to everyone here.
